plaster of Paris is known as calcium sulphate hemihydrate it is form when the gypsum is heated at hundred degree celciuus gypsum is also known as calcium sulphate dihydrated it's means it has two water of molecules and when heat it lose its molecule to form POP
it is use full in many part
it's used in setting the broken bones
it's used in making toys
it's used in art and making of statue

Plaster of Paris :-
Plaster of Paris is formed when gypsum is heated about 150°C .And it is used for various purposes and if plaster of Paris is mixed with water it forms a hard substance called gypsum.
CaSo4.2H2O ( heat ) _ CaSO4 + 1/2 H2O + 1 1 H2O.

Uses :-
* It is used for holding broken bones.
* To make walls smooth surfaces
* To make toys.
* It is used for decoration.
