plaster of paris is also known as calcium sulphate hemihydrate it is prepared by heating gypsum on 373 Kelvin is used in treatment of fractured bones and for making toys..please Mark it as a brainliest answer u will do a great favour mate

Plaster of paris ( POP) = It is a white powder and on mixing with water it changes to gypsum

●On heating gypsum at 373K,it loses water molecules and become Plaster of Paris {POP} .

USES=1. Doctors use it for supporting fractured bones .

2.For making toys, material for decoration .

3.For making surface smooth .
