Plastids are found in plants and some algae. Any of a class of small organelles in the cytoplasm of plant cells containing pigment is Called Plastids

Plastids are found in plant cell. They are bounded by double membrane.Plastids are of three types :- Leucoplasts, Chromoplasts and Chloroplasts.They provide colours to fruits and flowers, helping in pollination.They perform functions of photosynthesis .
