Answer:

The plum pudding model was an early (and incorrect) 20th century model of an atom. It was proposed by J.J. Thomson in 1904,[1] after the discovery of the electron, but before the discovery of the atomic nucleus. During that time, scientists knew that there was a positive charge in the atom that balanced out the negative charges of the electrons, making the atom neutral, but they didn't know where the positive charge was coming from. Thomson's model showed an atom that had a positively charged medium, or space, with negatively charged electrons inside the medium. Soon after its proposal, the model was called a 'plum pudding' model because the positive medium was like a pudding, with electrons, or plums, inside.

Answer:

it is type of atomic model

Explanation:

This plum pudding model was explained by J.J.THOMSON

He has taken an watermelon he cut it into half and explained as the red colour one which is present in it as positive charge i.e, proton and the seed as no charge i.e, neutron and the green color one as negative charge i.e, neutron
