Answer:

giving below

Explanation:

polar di electric is that in which polarization is there already for eg. both positive and negative charge occur simultaneously. eg. HCl

nonpolar dielectric is that in which dipole is induced temporarily when that dielectric is influenced in the field of another charge. eg. H2

Polar Dielectric:-

  • A polar molecule is one in which the centre of the positive charge and negative charge do not coincide.
  • Such molecule are called permanent electric dipoles as these have permanent dipole moments.
  • Its polarisation is temperature dependent.
  • Examples: HCl, H2O , N2O , NH3, H2S etc.

Non Polar Dielectric:-

  • A non polar molecule is one in which the centres of positive and negative charges co incide .
  • These molecules do not have any permanent dipole moment.
  • Its independent of temperature.
  • Examples: CO2, CCl4, O2 , N2 etc
