Polysaccharides are basically carbohydrates, made up from atleast more than 20 monosaccharides (eg. Glucose, fructose,galactose etc.) Units.

In other words, they are long chains of monosaccharides and it could be branched or unbranched .

Some examples are : starch , glycogen, enulin(smallest polysaccharide) etc.
