Explanation:

Pollination is the transfer of pollen from a male part of a plant to a female part of a plant, later enabling fertilisation and the production of seeds, most often by an animal or by wind. Pollinating agents are animals such as insects, birds, and bats; water; wind; and even plants themselves, when self-pollination occurs within a closed flower. Pollination often occurs within a species. When pollination occurs between species it can produce hybrid offspring in nature and in plant breeding work.

HEY WELCOME TO MY PERFECT ANSWER :-

●POLLINATION -

The process of transferring of pollen grains from the male anther of a flower to the stigma of a female flower is called pollination.

●Pollination can be of two types:-

1) Cross-pollination- When the pollen grains are transferred from the stamen of one flower to the stigma of a flower on another plant of the same species. Cross-pollination is achieved by different pollinating agents such as wind, water and insects etc.

2) Self-pollination- When the pollen grains are transferred from the anthers of one flower to the stigma of the same flower.
