Hey

Pollination is the act of transferring pollen grains from the male anther of a flower to the female stigma. The goal of every living organism, including plants, is to create offspring for the next generation. Seeds can only be produced when pollen is transferred between flowers of the same species.

Hope this helps you :)

Answer:

Pollination is the transfer of pollen from the anther of a plant to the stigma of the same  plant (self pollination ) or the transfer of pollen grains from the anther of one flower to the stigma of other (cross pollination) by the action of animals such as insects or by wind.
