the transfer of pollen grains on the stigma of flower through various pollinators is known as pollination . pollinators can be wind ,insects ,water,bats arboreal animals etc.

the transfer of anther to stigma of same flower or to an another flower of same kind by any medium such by wind, insects, animals, birds,etc., for fertilisation of ovary is called as pollination.
