Pollination is an agent’s transferring pollen from a gymnosperm’s sporophyll to an ovule’s micropyle or an agent’s transferring pollen from an angiosperm’s anther to a carpel’s stigma.

It can be of two types : 
> Self pollination
> Cross pollination
