The transfer of pollengrains from anther to stigma is called pollination. When pollengrains lands on stigma, it forms a pollen tube and travels through it to reach the ovary. Ovary contains ovules which contains egg. The pollen grain which is the male part of the flower fuses with egg which leads to fertilisation.
