pollination is a process by which pollen grains from the anther of a flower are transferred to the stigma of the flowers. It is of two types self pollination and cross pollination. It occurs in plants with the help of pollinating agents.,i.e.air water and animals.when the pollen grains enter the stigma,a thin pollen tube starts growing. This pollen tube penetrates the stigma and enters the ovule through the style
pollen tubes are the carrier's for the male gametes. The pollen grains fuses with the female gamets inside the ovule. This leads in the formation of zygote.

The transfer of pollen grains from anther to stigma is called pollen grains.
When pollen grains goes inside comes on the surface of ovary then it starts occuring.
When pollen grains comes on the surface of stigma then it contains two types of cell first is vegetative cell and another is generative cell. Vegetative cell take nutrion from stigma and after sometime it get burst and form way through which generative cell come inside pollen tube and enters in ovary and fertilisation takes place.
