The transfer of pollen grains from anther of a flower to the stigma of same flower or the other flower if same/ different species is called pollination.It is useful because it the way of reproducing the new seeds in the flowers.

It is the process of transferring of pollen grains from the male part from the anther to the stigma of the flower.
Two types of pollination :
There are two types of pollination, they are -
* self - pollination
It is a type of pollination in which the pollen grains gets transferred within the same flower.
* cross - pollination
It is a type of pollination in which the pollen grains gets transferred from the anther of one flower to the stigma of another flower.
Importance of pollination :
