pollination is a process in which Pollen Grain comes out from the anther lobes of the stamen and reach the stigma of another flower.

there are two types of pollination-

1. self pollination- the transfer of pollen grains from the flower to the stigma of the same flower or any other flower of the same plant is called self pollination. For this process it is necessary that either the flower should be bisexual or the plants should be bisexual.

2. cross pollination- the transfer of pollen grains from one flower to the stigma of the another flowers of different plant of the same species is called cross pollination. In this process pollen grains require a medium for their transfer.
