The transfer of pill grains, from the anther to the stimga in flowers is known as pollination.
Pollination is of 2 types :-

When pollen grains are transferred from anther to stigma of the same flower, then is called self pollination.
✳
When pollen grains are transferred from anther to stigmabof different flower on the different plant on the same kind is called Cross Pollination.
