Pollution-The presence in or introduction into the environment of a substance which has harmful or poisonous effects.
Types of Pollution-
#Air pollution-Air pollution occurs when the air contains gases, dust, fumes or odour in harmful amounts. That is, amounts which could be harmful to the health or comfort of humans and animals or which could cause damage to plants and materials.
#Water pollution-Water pollution is the contamination of water bodies (e.g. lakes, rivers, oceans, aquifers and groundwater). This form of environmental degradation occurs when pollutants are directly or indirectly discharged into water bodies without adequate treatment.
#Land pollution-Land pollution is the deterioration of the earth's land surfaces, often directly or indirectly as a result of man's activities and their misuse of land resources.
#Noise pollution-Noise pollution occurs when the surroundings have unwanted sounds in it which can have great impact on our ears which can damage them and can cause loss in hearing.
#Radioactive pollution-Radioactive pollution can be defined as the release of radioactive substances or high-energy particles into the air, water, or earth as a result of human activity, either by accident or by design.

air pollution- contamination of air by adding smoke, dust, co2 etc is called air pollution which can cause many respiratory disease.
water pollution- polluting water by throwing garbage, discharging garbage and spilling of oil by ships is called water pollution.
land pollution- it is caused due to throwing of garbage nad plastics which don't decompose on land.
noise pollution-it is caused due to high sound caused due to loud speakers which affect our ear.
