Answer:

pollution is releasing the unwanted and harmful substances into the environment which disturbs the balance of nature and lead to greenhouse effect or causes disturbance in both animal and human life.

Explanation:

there are 4 types of pollution.

Air pollution: release of unwanted chemicals or toxic substances into the atmosphere such as oxides of sulphur, carbon and other metals into air is called air pollution. factories and vehicles are responsible mostly for air pollution. this also results in acid rain. diseases such as asthma are caused due to air pollution

Water pollution: dumping the industrial waste and the waste from house hold activities into river bodies is know as water pollution. this results in loss of marine life and contamination of water. People who depend on river bodies also suffer from this. diseases such as cholera are caused due to water pollution.

Land pollution or soil pollution: dumping of non- biodegradable items such as plastic,metals,glass... etc results in soil pollution. this also effects the soil fertility and destroy organisms that help in development of soil health. proper waste management can help us to eradicate soil pollution. plantation of tress is a way which help to retain soil fertility. landslides and soil erosion are caused by soil pollution and deforestation.

Sound pollution or noise pollution: producing extra sound than a normal human or a living being can bare which causes inconvenience or sometimes deaf is called noise pollution. vehicles horns and jet planes are considered to be responsible for this
