The addition of impurities or chemicals into the atmosphere for example addition of dust into air is air pollution. Air pollution is addition of harmful gases and dust smoke and other pollutants in the air is called air pollution. water pollution is the addition of harmful chemicals to the water bodies is called water pollution. greenhouse effect is caused by greenhouse gases resulting to global warming. greenhouse effect is trapping of solar energy in the atmosphere by greenhouse gases like methane nitrogen oxide carbon dioxide. global warming is the rise in global temperature due to greenhouse effect. pollutants are the impurities added to the atmosphere
