advantage = polyester is tough and rigid . it is processed by thermoplastic operations . it recycle into useful products .

disadvantages = subject to attack by acid and bases . it is poor solvent resistance . it must be adequately dried in de humidifier processing to prevent hydeolytic deg radiation
