Polymerization

Polymerization is the process in which relatively small molecules or atoms, called Monomers, chemically combine with each other to produce a very large chain or network like structure, called a Polymer.

Some examples of Naturally occurring polymers are silk, cellulose, wool, DNA, etc.

Whereas, some examples of synthetic polymers are nylon, polyester, polyethylene, teflon, etc.
