what is polymorphism and how is it related to satellite dna? Is there any connection between variations seen in an organism and polymorphism ??
(I am really confused between these three words : polymorphism, repetitive dna and satellite dna. I tried to understand the concept from ncert but i'm not getting any clear idea about the topic)

Probably the highlight, I dunno lol...
Polymorphism- A discontinuous genetic variation divides the individuals of a population into two or more sharply distinct forms.
Repetitive DNA- Repetitive elements found in genomes fall into different classes, depending on their structure and/or the mode of multiplication.
Satellite DNA- highly repetitive DNA consisting of short sequences repeated a large number of times.
Satellite DNA, together with minisatellite and microsatellite DNA, constitute the tandem repeats.

Satellite DNA families in humans.
DNA is the genetic material present in the nucleus of the eukaryotic cells. A DNA sequence that is present multiple times in a haploid genome is called repetitive DNA.
A common property of repetitive sequences within the living world is their ability to give rise to variants with increased or reduced number of repeats.
While Polymorphism is more like ex. American and an Asian, that's like considered Polymorphism since two different body structure and etc. which u know, the DNA etc etc etc.
