Polynomial can be classified on two basis on the basis of :-

(1) TERMS

1 TERM - MONOMIAL

2 TERM - BINOMIAL

3 TERM - TRINOMIAL

4 TERM - QUADRINOMAL

5 TERM - POLYNOMIAL CONITANING 5 TERM

(2) DEGREE ( highest power of the variable)

DEGREE 1 - LINEAR

DEGREE 2 - QUADRATIC

DEGREE 3 - CUBIC

DEGREE 4 - BIQUADRATIC

DEGREE 5 - POLYNOMIAL HAVING DEGREE FIVE

THEORY OF EQUATION :-
