Binomial : -

An expression which contains two terms is called a binomial.

For Example : 2x + y , 3xy

Trinomial : -

An expression which contains three terms is called a trinomial.

For Example : x + y + 1 , 2x + 3y + 4z

Quadrinomial :

An expression which contains four terms is called a Quadrinomial.

For Example : x + y + z + 3
