Explanation:

Plaster of paris is a substance which is obtained by heating the substance called gypsum.

Plaster of paris as a result gets hardened. This material is mainly used in preparing Ganesh Murthis during Ganesh Chaturthi.

The heating of Calcium sulfate dihydrate (gypsum) leads to conversion into Calcium sulfate hemihydrate(POP) which is irreversible in nature.

Within a short period of time the plaster of Paris gets hardened.

The POP can't be reversed to it's original form.
