People are the nation's most valuable resource. A Well-educated healthy population provides potential power to nation. But over population is a bad thing for any country

India's population as on March 2001 stood at 1028 million, which account for 16.7 ℅ of the world's population. these 1.02 billion people are unevenly distributed over our country's vast area of 3.28 million square km, which account for 2.4℅ of the world's area.

Population is very important for a country but when that country enable to manage it, when it increased Risklessly then it caused problems like provide them good food and living place.

The arrangement or spread of people of a country in different places, is called population distribution.
The aspect concerned about population are as follows-
1. Size and distribution of population.
2. Population growth and process of population change.
3. Characteristics or qualities of the population.
