the amount of work done in bringing a unit positive charge fron one point to anathor within an electrical field is called potential difference
Resistance is the ability of a conductor to oppose the flow of charge through it.

Potential Difference:
The workdone in moving unit charge from one point to another.
V=W/Q=Workdone /Charge.
Measured by voltmeter.
SI unit is volt.

Resistance:
Ratio of potential difference across a conductor to current flowing through it.
R=V/I=Potential /Current .
SI unit = ohm .
