Power of Accomodation

The ability of our eye lens to adjust its shape means curvature and focal length with the help of ciliary muscles is called power of accommodation for example when ciliary muscles are relaxed the focal length is about 2.5 and object at Infinity are in SAARC focus on the retina when an object is brought closer to the focal length of eye lens becomes shorter the eye does this because of lens image distance for the eye
