(b) People have a right to be consulted on how they are to be governed.

(c) A legitimate government is one where citizens through participation, acquire a stake in the system.

The true best examples to see difference between the power sharing include Sri Lanka and Belgium.

In Belgium, the tensions that arised were reduced because the Belgium government accommodated the constitution in a better way by sharing power.

In Sri Lanka, majoritarianism resulted in the strained relation between Sinhalas and Tamils. It even started the formation of several political organisation by the minority people. It resulted in the civil war in which thousands of people of both the communities were killed.
