Explanation:

power sharing means sharing of power among different levels of government.

Forms of power sharing are as follows:

1.Horizontal power sharing: horizontal division of power is an arrangement in which power is shared among different organs of the government, such as the legislature, executive and judiciary.

2.Vertical power sharing:In vertical division of power, power can be shared among different levels of government like union, state and local levels of government,i.e it involves higher and lower levels of the government.

3.power sharing among social groups: Community government in Belgium is a good example of this arrangement. This type of arrangement meant to give space in the government and administration to diverse social groups who otherwise will feel alienated from the government.

4.Politicalparties , pressure groups and movements:This kind of Sharing can be direct, when two or more parties form an alliance to contest elections. If their alliance is elected, they form a coalition government and thus power is shared.
