what is power voltage rating of an electrical appliance? calculate the current used and resistance of an appliance whose power voltage rating is 500W , 220V ?

the power voltage rating of an appliance is a measure of the power used by the appliance per unit voltage.

current used =power rating/voltage rating=500/220 amps

resistance=voltage rating ^2/power rating
=220×220/500
=484/5 ohm
