PPLO is Pleuropneumonia Like Organism also known as Mycoplasma.
Mycoplasma causes diseases like Mycoplasmal urethritis in humans, Witches Broom in plants and Pleuropneumonia in cattle.
Mycoplasma are the smallest of Monera.
These do not possess a cell wall, are pleomorphic (polymorphic) and can survive without Oxygen.
