Parallel venation Reticulate venation Veins run parallel to one another from the base to the tip of the leaf. Veins are arranged in a net-like pattern on both sides of the midrib. This is a characteristic feature ofmonocot plants. This is a characteristic feature of the dicot plants. E.g. Banana, Bamboo.
