CORRISION: - The slow destruction of metals by the action of moisture and air to the metals is called corrision
EG:- rusting of iron (FERRIC OXIDE) , green layer above copper (COPPER CARBONATE) etc..

RANCIDITY: - The degradation of fats and oils by getting oxidised or by the action of Oxygen upon them is called RANCIDITY
EG: - An unusual smell coming out of chips after their expiry, etc..

In meteorology, precipitation is any product of the condensation of atmospheric water vapor that falls under gravity. The main forms of precipitation include drizzle, rain, sleet, snow, graupel and hail.

riddhi66: A precipitation reaction refers to the formation of an insoluble salt when two solutions containing soluble salts are combined. The insoluble salt that falls out of solution is known as the precipitate, hence the reaction's name. Precipitation reactions can help determine the presence of various ions in solution.

Precipitation - A reaction in which precipitate is formed . That reaction is said to be precipitation reaction.

Corrosion when a metal exposed to atmospheric moisture and oxygen reacts and gets corroded then it is said to be corrosion.
Example- iron put in moisture and oxygen present place gets rusted.

Rancidity- when oil and fat containing food reacts with moisture or oxygen resulting bad smell and taste. then it is said to rancidity...
