Precipitation is water released from clouds in the form of rain, freezing rain, sleet, snow, or hail. It is the primary connection in the water cycle that provides for the delivery of atmospheric water to the Earth. Most precipitation falls as rain.

Hi Friend!

Precipitation is nothing but rain fall on the form of rain, hail, snow.

It is also a step in water cycle.

When the water heats and turns into gaseous form is evaporation, and when evaporated water goes into the atmosphere it condenses and changes itself into a cloud is condensation

and when the cloud ☁️ starts precipitating (raining) is known as precipitation.

Hope it helpa
