Presbyopia refers to the eye defect when the person is neither able to see nearby objects nor the far objects.
This is common in old people.

It can be corrected by bifocal lens.

It is also known as old age hypermetropia. In this detect of vision old person cannot see the nearby objects clearly due to less power of accomoanon of the eye. In this the near-point ot old person having presbyopia gradually recedes and then becomes much more than 25 cm away.
