What is presbyopia?
does it occur when the near point gradually recedes away due to ageing...
or
a defect in which person suffers from both myopia or hypermetropia..
Which one is the correct?? I have seen different answers everywhere?

Presbyopia is when your eyes gradually lose the ability to see things clearly up close. It is a normal part of aging. In fact, the word "presbyopia" means "old eye" in Greek. You may start to noticepresbyopia shortly after age 40.
