Pressure is defined as the particular amount of force working per unit of area.

The amount of pressure is inversely proportional to area. i.e. the more the area will be the lesser amount of pressure will be there or vice versa

It's unit is Pascal 'P'.

Pressure = Force/area.

Applications. Cutting with knife's sharp edge. Hammering a nail.
