Answer:Pressure is the amount of force exerted by a substance.

We can reduce pressure by changing the following of a substance-

1.reducing volume

2.reducing mass

3.reducing density

The practical explanation is given below.

Explanation:

Materials-1.Small piece of Paper of size 2sq.cm

                 2.Heavy metal ball

                  3.Pressure measuring instrument

Procedure-1.Measure the pressure of the paper then measure the pressure of the heavy metal ball.Note down both the measurements.

Observation-The pressure exerted by the ball is more.

                       This is because pressure depends on the mass,volume and density of a substance.In every aspect,the ball is greater.So,pressure exerted by the ball is greater.

Conclusion-This proves that pressure of a substance depends on its mass,volume and density.
