Numbers which have no other factor other than 1 and the number itself are called prime numbers.
Example 5
you can find 5 in the table of 1 and 5 only. so 5 is prime
17 you can find 17 in the table of 1 and 17 only so 17 is prime
factor= if i say 6 is a factor of 24 then this means that if i divide 24 by 6 the result will be not come in decimal and remainder is 0.
