Private browsing modes usually hides users history from other users on the same computer, but it will still be tied to the computer. Safari, Google Chrome, Firefox,Opera and Internet Explorer all have private browsing modes you can use to make sure the websites you visit don't appear in your browsing history. However, it can still be known by your service provider or administrator in a later date, provided they have made prior settings for that.
