Profit is the revenue remaining after all costs are paid. These costs include labor, materials, interest on debt, and taxes. Profit is usually used when describing business activity. But everyone with an income has profit. It's what's left over after paying the bills.

Step-by-step explanation:

PROFIT:IF COST PRICE IS LESS THAN SELLING PRICE THE THEY'LL GAIN PROFIT

PROFIT CAN BE CALLED AS GAIN

PROFIT=SP-CP  [WHERE SP=SELLING PRICE  CP=COST PRICE]

PROFIT%=PROFIT/CP*100

EX:A MAN HAS  12 BANANAS IT CP=50RS  AND SP=90RS FIND PROFIT AND PROFIT%?

SOL:PROFIT=SP-CP

                     =90-50

                       =40RS

            PROFIT%=PROFIT/CP*100

                             =40/50*100

                             =80%
