the protoplasm of a living plant or bacterial cell whose cell wall has been removed.
Protoplasts are cells which have had their cell wall removed, usually by digestion with enzymes. Cellulaseenzymes digest the cellulose in plant cell walls while pectinase enzymes break down the pectin holding cells together.

Hola mate......here is your answer....

Protoplasm can be easily understood as the part or matrix of cell ( both plant and animal ) except the nucleoplasm......

All the enzymes used in glycolysis have a significant importance in protoplast formation

eg. Aldolase , hexokinase , mutase etc...

hope u understood ^_^....
