The type of property which is open to be used by the citizens of the state and even people of other nationalities are called as public property.

Explanation:

• They are created by the government so, that all the people could benefit from such services. Based on ownership of property the properties are of different types: private property, public property, and state-owned property.

• If the property is owned by any individual himself then it is private property. But, when the state or the government owns the property it depends on the state if they want to make it as public property which will be used by all the people or it should remain in the hands of the state and state will use it for different other purposes.

• One example of a public property can be a public park that is open to all the citizens and its maintenance is done by the state agencies. Another example can be public transport which can be used by everyone.
