A substance in which some other substances are also present in smaller amounts is called an impure matter.
A substance contains only one substance, with no other substances mixed in. Is called pure matter .

Pure matter: A compound or element that contains only one substance, with no other substances mixed.
Ex- diamond, pure sugar etc.
Impure matter: they can be mixture of elements, mixture of compounds or mixture of elements and compounds.
Ex- milk, honey etc.
