pituitary gland is found on humans brain. It is about the size of a pea. This gland secretes hormones that induces for growth, production, stress, etc. This gland produces nine hormones which are helpful for our human body.

The defects due to pituitary glands are short growth when hormones are less, huge when hormones are more, tumors on brain membrane.

Vibhav: The pituitary gland is located in the center of the skull, just behind the bridge of the nose, is about the size of a pea. Pituitary gland is known as the master gland of the endocrine system. It is located under the brain. It controls secretion of other hormones. It secretes 9 hormones. It is very sensitive to thyroxin.,and whenever its amount is less it orders thyroid gland o produce thyroxin.
