Pythagoras was a greek mathematician, who invented the formula to find the hypotenuse of a right triangle, when the base and other side are known.In The Pythagorean theorem, is a relation in Euclidean geometry among the three sides of a right triangle. It states that the square of the hypotenuse (the side opposite the right angle) is equal to the sum of the squares of the other two sides.

(hypotenuse)² = (base)² + (side)².
