In a right triangle, the square of length of the hypotenuse is equal to the sum of the squares of lengths of the other two sides.

Pythagoras property or theorem is a property used in only Right Angled Triangles. It states that square of the hypotenuse( the longest side ) is equal to the sum of square of other two sides( base and perpendicular ). For eg.:- ABC is a right angled triangle, right angled at B, so, AC²=AB²+BC².
