The pythagoras theorem states that in a right angled triangle where one angle is of 90 degree , the hypotenuse ( side opposite to 90 degree) is equal to the square root of the sums of the perpendicular (p) and base (b)
i.e.
H ^{2} =P^{2} +B^{2}
or ,
H= \sqrt{P ^{2}+B^{2}  } .
