what is quantum physics...

Answer:
Explanation:
Quantum Physics is the most beautiful and strange branch of Physics.let me start from the beginning.
1900-Max Planck discovers his law of Blackbody Radiation and thus solves the Ultraviolet Catastrophe.
1905-Albert Einstein theorises Photons(Quantum of Electromagnetic Radiation)and thus discovers his law of the Photoelectric effect.
1924-Louis de Broglie discovers theoretically the wave nature of material particles (particularly for electrons).
Werner Heisenberg gives his Principle of Uncertainty which tells that at a time we can't simultaneously determine the position and momentum of a subatomic particle.
*Erwin Schrodinger discovers the Schrodinger equation which tells about the wave function of electrons in an atom and probability of finding an electron.
*Paul Dirac discovers the Dirac equation which confirms the existence of Antimatter.(The first antiparticle discovered was positron)
*Many Quantum Phenomenon were Discovered in Nature by various Experimental Physicists, like The Compton effect,Raman effect,Mossbauer effect etc.
*Various theories have been put forward with the base as Quantum Physics, like,Quantum theory of radiation, matter, superconductivity, sound etc..
*The central Concept of Quantum Physics is the Wave-Particle duality of Radiation as well as matter, which says that in some situations they act like waves and in others like particles.
*Richard Feynman along with others gave the theory of Quantum Electrodynamics which is about the interaction of light and Matter.
All the Physicists named above were awarded The Nobel prize for Physics for their respective discoveries.
Hope u understood Quantum Physics..if not then u will definitely if u have curiosity. All the best.
Infact I have also just started learning Quantum Physics and it's so beautiful..
Answer:Quantum mechanics, including quantum field theory, is a fundamental theory in physics which describes nature at the smallest scales of atoms and subatomic particles.
