after dividing the last ans what u get after subtracting the No is remainder and the no with which u multiply to get the ans is quotient for example 4/2 here 2 will be Q and 0 be R

quotient is the no which has to be divided and remainder is the no which left after divide and cannot be further solved for eg 9÷2 so the quotient is 9 and the remainder will be 1
